For years, we dreamed of creating a wedding venue that captures the magic of new beginnings, inspired by our own early days as a couple. After immersing ourselves in the wedding industry, we fell in love with the people who pour their hearts into turning dreams into reality.
An intensive eight-month search led us to Spring Lake—a peaceful, 130-acre lakeside gem made for celebration. As venue owners, we’re driven to support couples and ease the stress of planning, because a wedding is the spark of lifelong memories—and we’re committed to making each day as personal and seamless as you’ve always imagined.

Morgan Gonzalez
I fell in love with the hospitality industry early on and knew I wanted to spend my career serving people. During an internship with a wedding planner, I realized my true passion was the wedding world—being a part of one of the biggest days in someone’s life quickly became the most rewarding work I could imagine. I have worked in the wedding industry for six years and counting, gaining hands-on experience across all facets of weddings and events.
When I transitioned to the venue side of the industry, everything clicked. The combination of operating a facility while guiding couples through the creation of their most meaningful celebrations was exactly what I’d been searching for. I then spent three years fully managing one of the premier venues in Leawood, Kansas, overseeing all aspects of operations and building an exceptional team of professionals who consistently delivered elevated, seamless, and unforgettable events. I’m incredibly excited to bring that experience to Spring Lake. I truly love what I do and am honored to walk alongside each and every client who chooses to celebrate here.

Annie Kenny
With over three years of experience in the event industry, I bring a creative, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach to every event I am a part of. My background in wedding planning, event coordination, operations, and client success has given me a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to bring an event from an initial idea to seamless execution.
I am passionate about creating memorable experiences and thrive in the behind-the-scenes details that make an event feel effortless. From building timelines and coordinating vendors to managing logistics and creating meaningful client experiences, I love turning big ideas into beautifully executed events.
Before pursuing a career in events, I worked in education, where I developed strong communication, organization, leadership, and relationship-building skills. I now combine those skills with my love of creativity and events to help create celebrations that feel intentional, seamless, and memorable. I’m excited to continue growing in the industry and bring that passion to every couple and event I have the opportunity to work with at Spring Lake.
